レモングラスはポア科(Poaceae)とグドゥキアディ(Guduchyadi)の草科に属する植物です。レモングラスはレモンの香りと柑橘類の香りでよく知られています。

Lemongrass – An Aromatic Healer has Botanical name as - Cymbopogon citratus. Lemongrass is an herb which belongs to the grass family of Poaceae and ‘Guduchyadi’ family as per Ayurveda. Lemon grass is also known as “Bhutruna or Hari chhay” in Ayurveda. Cymbopogon is well known and utilized for its distinct lemon flavor and citrusy aroma.

Lemongrass is a tall, perennial grass which is native to India and tropical regions of Asia.
